How does the assessment work?

After your purchase, you’ll receive an email with a link to take the assessment. Then, you’ll answer a series of 100 questions in about 20 minutes. When you’re finished, just submit your questionnaire and your report will be available to download immediately. You’ll also get an email back with a PDF of your customized profile report (Many people like to print it out so they can mark it up and refer to the report often).

Why should I take this assessment if I already know my type?

The Typology Institute Enneagram Assessment is for anyone who wants to use the Enneagram to know themselves better, whether you’re brand new to the Enneagram or have been studying it for quite some time. Actually, after taking the assessment, some people realize they had previously mistyped themselves — and often discover the reason why. And if you don’t know your Type, that’s okay. The Typology Institute Enneagram Assessment is an extremely accurate tool that will help you discover your Type and, more importantly, help you understand why you do the things you do with amazing accuracy.

How long will it take to get my report?

It will take about 20 minutes to go through your assessment. You'll receive your report immediately on the completion page to download. Then, 5 – 10 minutes after completing the assessment, your report will also be automatically delivered via email.

How can I be sure I'll get accurate results?

While no personality assessment is 100% perfect, the Typology Institute Enneagram Assessment is a quantitatively researched assessment that uses advanced algorithms and predictive analysis to produce a highly reliable Enneagram profile for individuals or teams. What happened to your free assessment?

While my free assessment was a great way to learn what Enneagram type you are, it only scratched the surface. I wanted to provide a more exhaustive report that would give you not only the knowledge, but also actionable insight that allows you to integrate the Enneagram into your life.

Will the Typology Institute Enneagram Assessment tell me what my dominant Wing is?

It does! But keep in mind, most people shift wings depending on phases of their lives. The Typology Institute Enneagram Report will identify your dominant wing and explain the behavioral influence both wings could have on a person. It is also very healthy to consciously develop both wings. We noticed that the real rich explanation for the difference some people have inside the same type is explained by the 27 Subtypes (when the biological dominant instinct merges with the passion of the Core Type).

What tips do you have for actually taking the Assessment? What can I do to set myself up to get an accurate result?

In order to maximize your Assessment-taking experience, we encourage you to set a time and place aside where you can take the Typology Institute Enneagram Assessment uninterrupted on a day when you are feeling like yourself. Then, take a deep breath and answer the questions to the best of your ability! Try not to be too swayed by your temporal circumstances; answer as to what is generally most true of you.

If I don’t like it, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we can’t issue refunds for the report, because the report is automatically delivered upon completion and there’s no way for you to return it.
